BANGKOK, THAILAND – 10 August 2020

On 3 August 2020, Boutique Corporation’s Corporate Social Responsibility committee, ‘Boutique Cares’, together with the whole team from Headquarters, visited the Phra Khanong District at Wat Dhammamongkhon, to donate care packages, automated hand sanatizers and Pikul trees to the community.

Hosted by Mr. Ruengdech Pongchano and team from the Phra Khanong District, the day commenced with a speech from Boutique Corporation’s President and Group CEO, Mr. Prab Thakral who said, “Boutique Corporation is committed to sustainable growth and we firmly believe in giving back to society and the communities in which we operate”.  Mr. Thakral added, “That is why Boutique Cares concentrated its efforts on supporting the Phra Khanong District, a community which has also been greatly impacted by the global pandemic of COVID-19”.

COVID-19 has had a tremendous impact on people in Thailand and around the world, making it more important than ever that we unite as a society to support one another and particularly those who are less fortunate. The Boutique team came together to pack and distribute 150 care packages of rice, dried foods, and milk as well as lunch boxes to the people of Phra Khanong District.

In addition to the care packages, BC also donated Pikul Trees which are to be planted along Sukhumvit road. Mr. Thakral said “At real estate developers, we are committed to practices that are environmentally friendly and ensuring that whilst we build community malls, offices, and hotels to provide services to the community, we are also safeguarding the green spaces. He went onto say “I believe that as well as the positive impact on the environment, these trees will enhance the community for years to come.”
