Hotel Business Booming in first half of 2025, BC Confident in Strong Momentum into High Season and “Tiew Thai Khon La Khrueng” Stimulus
Bangkok, July 2025 – Boutique Corporation Public Company Limited (BC) reports that its hotel business performed strongly in the first half of 2025, with average occupancy rates exceeding 70%. The company anticipates continued growth in the second half of the year, fueled by the global travel season and robust domestic tourism supported by the government's “Tiew Thai Khon La Khrueng” co-payment scheme.
Mr. Prabsharan Singh Thakral, Chief Executive Officer of BC, stated that several hotels under the BC portfolio recorded over 70% average occupancy in the first half of 2025. This strong performance reflects the confidence of both Thai and international travelers. Looking ahead, BC sees further upside for the tourism sector, driven by multiple factors: a steady influx of international visitors during Europe’s summer holidays, China’s Golden Week, and Thailand’s peak travel season at year-end.
Government policies are also playing a significant role, with proactive measures such as visa exemptions for travelers from 93 countries, extended Visa on Arrival privileges, and the “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025” promotional campaign. These are complemented by an increase in direct international flight routes into Thailand, enhancing overall accessibility.
Upsurge in Long-Stay and High-Spending Segments
BC has observed a growing trend in long-stay and high-spending travelers, particularly in major tourist destinations. This trend contributes to a positive business outlook for the company’s hotel operations, with continued gains expected in both occupancy rate and Average Daily Rate (ADR).
Boost from Domestic Stimulus: “Tiew Thai Khon La Khrueng” Campaign
A key catalyst for domestic tourism has been the latest phase of the “Tiew Thai Khon La Khrueng” scheme, which allows eligible participants to register from July 1 to October 31, 2025, and redeem benefits through the 'Amazing Thailand' app. Travelers can receive up to 50% support on accommodation and various services, revitalizing local travel demand.
